Program of the European training database activities for courses A and B.
Working day 1 :
09:00-16:00: Seminar about the Dutch education system, the current affairs in Dutch education, expanded tutorial involving cultural support for job- shadowing incl. a 2 hours course "classroom Dutch".
Working day 2 -7 (9):
08:00-15:00/16:00: Getting acquainted with the school / organisation where you will do the job shadowing.
Job-shadowing - observed teaching, directed tasks, team teaching and assignments.
Day 3 or 4: Feedback session (afternoon).
Working day 8 (10):
09:00-12:00: Workshop about Competences for teachers OR Teaching = Educating OR Small pedagogics for adults OR bi- and trilingual education.
12:30-13:45: InterPrimair invites you for lunch.
14:00-15:30: Advice on how to access, from the teacher's own country, changes and developments in teaching in schools in The Netherlands. Evaluation of the job shadowing experience.

With less than 5 participants there will be some modification regarding the workshop. During the weekend you are free to travel all over our small country or just stay at your hotel and go on a trip in the region. InterPrimair can give you advise and suggestions what to do.

Course DNL1213
This program goes from Monday to Friday. You can choose the week (dates) yourself. Apart from the period / sessions for the courses A and B and (ofcourse) the school holidays all weeks are normally possible. But exeptions to this rule might occur. So please ask us on forehand if the dates you have in mind are also possible for InterPrimair c.q. the school / organisation. Depending on your needs we will find a host school for you.
You may extend the job-shadowing activity after the basic / 1st week for € 83,50 per working day. Example A: 1st week € 555 + 2th week € 417,50 = € 972,50. Example B: 1st week € 555 + 2 extra days € 167 = € 722,00.Important is that you inform us at least four (4) weeks prior to the start of the activity; then we have enough time to arrange a job shadowing place for you. For informing us you have to fill in our intake form and send it back. After this and only at your request we will send you a letter of acceptance which can be used for asking for a grant at your NA.

Below dates are guaranteed for job-shadowing activities:
Session 1: 17 - 28 September 2012; Session 2: 11 - 23 March 2013; Session 3: 15 - 26 April 2013; Session 4: 16 - 27 September 2013; Session 5: 28 October - 8 November 2013.

Working day 1:
09:00 - 10:30: Introduction to the Dutch education system and comprised tutorial involving cultural support for job- shadowing.
10:30: Getting acquainted with the school / organisation where you will do the job shadowing.
Working day 2-5:
08:00- 15:00/16:00: Job-shadowing - observed teaching, directed tasks, team teaching and assignments.
Day 5: 8:00 - 12:30.
Working day 5:
13:30 - 15:00: Feedback and Evaluation.

Each applicant has to send in an action plan 2 weeks before the course, outlining hopes and objectives for achievement as a result of
attending this course.

Type of certification of attendance awarded
Certificate of Attendance and time input.

Cancellation rules
Cancellation until one month before the training starts is free.The cancellation fee as from one month before the start of the training is € 100.
Only a written notification of cancellation (by email or regular post) is accepted.

Special remarks
If requested InterPrimair can provide facilities for participants with special needs. Our training locations / schools are mainly located in the province of Fryslân [Friesland].
